Fit the tyre over the coupling flanges ensure the tyre seat properly on the flanges. To ensure proper seating and to maintain the gap between the ends of tyre given below it may be necessary to strike the outside diameter of the tyre with a small mallet.

Tyre Couplings are specifically designed for motor-pump installations, Where it is advantage to shift either shaft axially without distributing Drive and driven equipment while servicing impellers, packing glands etc. The maintenance time reduction is valuable on pumps, compressors and many other applications.

It comprises of spacer assembly and a standard Tyre coupling. The spacer assembly consist of a flanged shaft and a spacer adapter taper bored to suit standard EASYFIT (Taper) Bush.

The standard distance between shaft end dimensions 100, 140, and 180mm.
